I took a shot in the dark that my "No Start" problem was the opti because of my massive coolant leak. I pulled it out and pulled it apart i think that was my problem it was wet inside and the "optical sensor" was wet. "as mentioned by Injuneer of what could be the problem"
yep, that will do it. While you are in there, you should replace the oil seals in the front cover. If you don't you'll be doing it all over again shortly. The opti seal and water pump drive seals are cheap and will save you a bunch of time and aggravation if you replace them while everything else is apart.

Yeah I think that I have maybe a total of 30 min. running time on the engine. But you're right while i'm there I'm probably going to go ahead and change the Opti seal. Not the water pump drive seal for the simple reason I plugged it when I switched to the electric pump. But I'm definately changing the Opti seal, with the blower on the car it makes it twice the pain to get in there to change it.

I have cranked it so much with out it starting I have fuel in my oil. I'm completely out of ideas. if anyone could shoot me some ideas it would be greatly appeciated.
