check gauges light

can anyone help me? i just got a new clutch installed in my 1995 camaro z28 with the LT1, whenever i drive for more then 20miles my check gauges light comes on, and the oil pressure gauge drops, it runs fine and the oil level is where it should be. im confused. is it a sensor or is there something else going on?

The check gauges light comes on to tell you to (surprise) CHECK THE GAUGES. You say the oil pressure drops low. Below 6 psi makes the check gauges light come on. You either have an oil pressure issue or a sensor/wiring problem.
