I am fixin 02 SS and have to but 4 new wheels and tires. I am going to keep stock ride height. I dont know what sizes will fit and i would to fit 18's. Any help on what would fit without modifications will be helpful.

Typical wheel size would be 18x9.5" with a 45-56mm offset, running a 275/35-18 or 285/35-18 tire. You could also consider running an 18x9" or 18x9.5" wheel in the front with the 275/35-18 and an 18x10.5" with a 45-50mm offset in the back, with a 295/35-18 tire. The 295 would require a correction in the PCM to eliminate a 1.5% speedo error, or it would read about 1MPH lower than actual speed at 60MPH. The 275 or 285 would produce a smaller error that you still might want to reprogram for.Fred

As long as you get the correct wheel offset, centering the wheel/tire in the fender well, there will be no interference. Once you get to a 315 section width, hammering may become a necessity.Fred
