  • What the heck, now?

I just replaced the "low coolant" sensor (AKA level indicator module) MAYBE a month and a half ago, and driving around today the low coolant light is on again. Checked the level of the antifreeze in the resevoir and in the radiator, and everything is fine. I don't think sensor is bad already, might something else cause this? Do I need to do another coolant flush? Thanks!

you could have a short in the wiring to the sensor. Also, if the DexCool coolant isn't properly mixed, it causes sludge. That can also be the cause. Also, don't rule out that you got a defective sensor from the parts store. Good luck......

Take it out and clean it off. If it works again, then you know that it is getting fouled by your coolant.
