  • Clutch question

This is my first car that I have owned with a manual transmission. I was wondering what signs do I look for to show that the clutch is going out or that I will need a new one soon?

SFC( not sure what kind), drilled/slotted rotors, K&N air filter, all free mods, 3" Borla cat back exaust, electric exaust cut out, NGK spark plugs, royal purple motor oil, and Zaino .Maybe more. I find more stuff done to it everytime I look at it.

This is how I check. Roll down the street in forth at about 2000rmps. Then instantly punch it, if the engine seems to rev up and the car does not really begin to rull right away, that means its slipping. If the pedal is really high and engages at the last inch or so of travel, its time for a new one.
