I have a HPP+ and haven't used it in a while. Would I be able to plug it in just to test the port without making changes to the car's computer? I don't want to reset the car's computer as I'm almost due for inspection. Thanks!

Plugging it in will not "change" anything. They even made a scan cartridge for the OBD-II HPP's.Fred
