  • Vibration when I coast @ high speed...

    Hey everyone,
91 RS, T5 305TBI When I am crusing at highway speeds and I take my foot off the gas to let the engine slow the car down, I get a really bad vibration. Putting the clutch in will usually stop it. Any thoughts?

    Thanks,

Usually when you have a vibration and you push in the clutch and it goes away it's the pilot bearing/bushing. But when it's the pilot bearing/bushing it will do it whether accelerating or decelerating.

So in your case I would check the U joints ASAP.
