can you fit 315s on a set of 18 inch rims for a 93 trans am? thanks for the help

93 trans am lt1 soon to be a 406 gen 1 sbc all bolt ons zr1 wheels dr in back built 700 r4. -
Depends on the exact size of the tire and the exact size of the wheel. You would probably be looking at a 315/30-18 to match the stock tire size. That will require at least a 10.5"-11.5" wide wheel. An 18x11.0 wheel would require a 50mm offset to keep the wheel/tire just barely under the fender, and just barely against the inner fender liner. You ***MIGHT*** still need to:
-hammer the inner fenders
-cut the projecting edges off the jounce bumper brackets
-recenter the body over the axle with an adjustable panhard rod.Fred
