I'm looking for some new or slightly used Koni Red Shocks for my 97 t/a. I looked on ebay but the best I could find was around $900 and that is way out of my price range. Any help would be great or something that is just as good. Thanks in advance

Why Koni red? Don't you mean Koni yellow (the single adjustable)?

I bought mine for approx. $750 for all four.

Ok, i put the front kyb shocks on the car , and stock shocks on the rear as i thought the kyb ones might be bad.. so front kyb agx setiing 3 , around a year old, rear stock shocks, and hotchkis springs same about a year old

I ve noticed the car doesnt tilt so much on the motorway, also brakes better with less nose dive, it is a bit hard over potholes but not too bad, and it sits a bit lower , around an inch, but i think its less on the rear.

This with used parts, all might be firmer with new parts .

Well I was looking at some specs on the Yellows and they don't say anything about using with a lowered suspension and I have the Eibach Sportlines which are about a 2" drop and I'm pretty sure original equipment shocks and they are very very harsh. The Reds say specifically for lowered suspension. And the reds are only 250 more about.

Thanks Trans Am for the feedback, very helpful. Good Luck. My suspension bangs right now with the Eibach Sportlines and the stock shocks and struts.

i ve driven it more since i changed the shocks and springs, and it handles significantly better than before, almost no tilt on the motorway, at the front the gap between the wheel and the wheelarch is about 1 , inch, and on the rear its about 2 , 2and a half inches. i have to drive slowly over speed humps, otherwise i scrape the air dam , and sometimes the cat . all in all it was worth doing it, and i m happy with the results.

On my 93 trans am i am going to put a set of sportlines like yours, and i m still thinking what shocks i should buy.. although from what i ve read and heard the sportlines are very harsh and might not matter much what shocks you get because of that, i even know somebody who had to take them off after a few weeks because of that. i m still going for it haha
