Subject: 03019 – Special Policy Adjustment – 4.2L (LL8) Bore Liner Cracking
Models: Certain 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer; GMC Envoy; and Oldsmobile Bravada’s.
Condition: Cracking of engine cylinder bore liner. Engine replacement is necessary to correct this failure.
Special Policy Adjustment: This special policy covers the condition described for a period of seven (7) years or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service, regardless of ownership. Repairs are to be made with no charge to the customer.

Safety Recall
1997 – 1999 Dodge Caravan, Plymouth Voyager, and Chrysler Town & Country short wheel base minivans.
Problem: The mastic sound barrier patches on the minivan may loosen and drop into the rear seat (3rd row) outboard seat belt assemblies. This could cause the rear outboard seat belts to become inoperative.
What to do: Contact your dealer and schedule an appointment. Ask the dealer to hold the parts or order them before your appointment.
