I've seen a few posts on here about guys routing the fatter 8mm plug wires up and over the valve covers, down to the plugs. I haven't see a sure fire answer as to exactly how to do this.
I have a stock 97TA with Edelbrock headers. I crammed a set of 8mm Moroso Blue Max wires into the stock wire routes, and it just isn't working. I'm seeing a lot of blue sparks coming out of the sides of the wires, and I believe this is what is causing my occasional misfire.
Am I stuck having to cut and crimp my own wires if I am going to attempt a project like this?
What loom holders would I get, that would snap, or bolt to my stock valve covers?
What set of wires should I buy that would have the correct boots for the opti-spark, and the spark plugs?
