Anyone know how to stop water from building up and fogging up my tail lights on my '94 T/A? I tried putting some silicon around the inner edjes but water looks like it's still getting in and fogging up whenever i wash my car. Could it be entering thru the bulb sealers?

I can't specifically address the possible issue with the TA tailights. But I have had these types of problems with other cars I have owned and what I do is remove the lamp assembly from the car, then fill it up with water thru the bulb opening and watch where it leaks out. If it doesn't leak anywhere, then the seal for the bulb is probably bad and should be replaced. If you see leaks, mark the areas with a grease pencil. Next, drain the water out of the lamp and use compressed air to blow the insides of the lamps as dry as possible. Put the lamp assembly in the sun for an hour or two or blow it dry with a hair dryer.

If you have to reseal the lamp because you did find a leak, get some silicone GLASS sealer. You can usually find this at an Auto Parts store like Pep Boys. The silicone glass sealer is very runny and will get down in the cracks and crevices to give you a good seal.

    Good luck.
