first off all. do you have a V8 or V6? need more info on your car.
the best mod for my 95Z28 A4 was a 3" borla y-pipe (also have a hi flo cat and slp loudmouth cat back) but i installed y-pipe first and noticed more torque if thats possible??? and GM motive 3.73 gears also made huge difference from 0-60 in my opinion.
good luck.

I think he has a 6 because he said it's a base Camaro. I would just say to let the motor breathe with a good intake/exhaust system (headers, cat-back, etc.). That's always good for hp and tq. If you want to increase acceleration, gears might help a bit, but does nothing to your motor's power.94 Black T/A GT, Advanced Induction 355, 3200 stall, built 4L60E, Moser 9", Baer Brakes, Shooting for 11s...

Yes... "base" model = V6.... but is it an automatic or manual trans?
There is no way subframe connectors will accomplish any improvement that you could feel or measure, such as 0-60mph performance. They will stiffen the chassis, and make it less wasteful with regard to HP, but only meaingful when you start talking about 400-500HP applications.
With a manual, you will see a real improvement in off-the-line performance and 0-60 time with numerically higher gears. Don't know what the V6 comes with stock, as far as differential ratio, but a set of 3.73's would perk things up. You are talking $500 minimum for gears, install kit and setup.
With an automatic, the higher numerical rear axle ratio will help, and you can look at a higher "stall" torque converter. Again, while not actually increasing HP, it will improve torque multiplication at launch, and make your car respond better..... mainly on the street..... light-to-light races.
Then as noted above, a good cold air intake or improved air intake box, a good exhaust cat-back and a set of headers, and then get serious with heads and cam, or nitrous.Fred
