  • LS1 PS Pressure Hose Replacement Procedure

Will the hose snake out the bottom or the top? Do I need to undo the serpentine belt and maybe the PS pump itself for more room? Thanks, I'm in the middle of this job and need to get it done and the car moved.

Update: I got it out from the top by rotating as necessary to accomodate the metal tube angles and obstructions. New hose went in same way with tape on ends to keep dirt out.

It was leaking from where the rubber hose is crimped onto the lower metal tube part. Has little 0-rings on both ends. If one or both decide to leak, at least replacement is easy but then there's the time-consuming bleeding procedure. The serpentine belt was cake.

I will be bleeding it and checking for leaks later today.
