I have been looking into a cam for a while now, and i am leaning towards a comp cam. one in particular has these specs- lift: .503/.510 dur @ .050 224/230 lsa:112....now what i need to know is if this would be a good setup if i got new rockers, valvesprings and all the need internals. is this a good cam or too big?

in my opinion if you're going to spend your money on the cam you might as well go big. I woul think that the lift is a little on the week side. duration seems ok, you'll be able to hear it but not a whole lot. lsa seems good. But I would think you would want quite a bit more lift. But that would depend on what your purpose for the car would be. Is it a DD, track car, combo of both, weekend car?'95 T/A Conv., Green, Tan Top

well thats the thing, i wont be messing around with the heads, like no porting until a while down the road. i just want some more horsepower. driveabilty isnt a problem for me because i dont go on any long trips so that isnt a problem. as you see, i'm not very knowledable when it comes to this so what cam specs would you reccomend then?1994 Pontiac Trans Am A4 Pacesetter Ceramic Coated Longtubes,3" ORY,Dual 3" Cutouts,No Cat,!AIR,!EGR,K&N CAI,Flowmaster Exhaust,Mad Z28 Tune,Spohn Subframe Connectors,Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs,KYB Shocks,17x9.5 Chrome ZO6 Rims,5% Tint
