  • breaks squeaking

I took em apart, put the anti squeak gel, let em dry, put em back together, in 3 days they squeaked again. Did it again, this time put it on the caliper and the break pad, not just the pad. within 10 minuts it was squeaking. It looks as if its so hot (it was like 90 degrees out) that it just melts the "gel" and moves it to the side, and keeps vibrating. What works in this situation?

Try putting nothing on the pads. I didnt put a thing on mine and they work fine. If not that, take some sand paper and sand the pad just a bit to remove any dirt or grease it might have.

Did the pads have a metal Plate on the back part of the pad? On my honda and On my T/A I didnt put anything on either and they never made any noise. If it would start then I would add some stuff to the back part.

If it made it before and after you added the Anti-Squeak on the pads then sand the pads just a little. They could be contaminated with grease or glue.
