  • 95z beakin up at and above 4000 rpm??????

    I have a 1995 z28 lt1 that has a mis above 4000 under hard exeleration!Car has new optispark accel,msd blster coil and 8mm wires,platinum plugs,cai,kn,slp air module,air foil,160 stat,throttlebody bypass,crank pully all done at same time .problem was there befor mods!Any ideas were to look?I do know that the intake elbo has to be replaced but dont think that is a factor,PLEASE HELP!!!!!

    missing out like how? mine felt like it was lagging when got on it found out it was fouled out plug what kinda plugs you put in?

      No it misses like its breaking up right befor it shiftrs!None of the ignition stuff seems to have helped!Any ideas!

        Check the Opti harness connectors for corrosion or damaged pins. Check the IC Module. Check the fuel pressure at WOT/max RPM/max load - while accelerating .

        A torn intake elbow can really screw things up, allowing air to bypass the MAF sensor. At WOT that will cause it to lean out. Such an obvious defect needs immediate attention.
