hi all sorry its been a while sort of lost intrest in the car for a bit . i have been offerd a low milage motor from a 95 z28 will this drop straight into my 93 formula or will i need to change things like the ecu ? thanks

The longblock will go right in and can use the original 93 ECM. use the original 93 wiring harness, intake assembly and exhaust manifolds with emissions hookups. The only real difference of note in the shortblock is that the opti spark and it's method of being driven was changed from 93 to a different design in the 95.

my motor has been sat with the exhaust manifold off and not run for 2 or so years and it was starting to knock and pink under load before i took it off the road. i have just found out that the car i maybe geting the motor from is a 97 z28 6 speed i dont want the tranny just the motor . i have offered the guy £500 or $950 for ithttp://www.pontiacdriversclub.co.uk/ keeping it pontiac in the the uk. 93 formula a4 ZR1 rims
