I have read that some people port their stock TB and it give a little gain. Has anyone done this? Im experienced with all kinds of grinders but I dont know its its worth the time and effort.

wouldn't you need the larger butterflys for it to work correctly? the only way i could see it working like that would be to do some major adjusting to the IAC.87 GTA: it's winter time, all tore apart

You needs new blades, to match the diameter of the new bores. There are people that sell ported stock TB's on eBay.
Kinsler sells blades.
