Can anyone tell me if there would be something wrong with this cam. 230/234, .630/.610 112 LSA? It would be a custom grind cam, because i dont want a smaller 224 cam, or, as ive been told, a huge one like the MS4. This seems like a happy medium, i would just like to know what people think, and how it would work

      you have a 230/234 duration with a .550/.550 lift and 112 LSA?

Are you planning to put that with stock LS1 heads? Or do you have them ported? If they're stock, I'm not sure what you could expect with that lift. Stock LS1 flow numbers show it start to fall off between .5 and .6, so > .6 lift would probably be way too much.

ive looked around and the magic stick 4 has like a .649 intake, and when run on stock heads it made 82 more h/p. So, i dont think its ever going to be completley overkill, i meen they do make them for stock heads. Just the fact is that i picked all of those numbers, its not like a cam off of the shelf, i was just wondering if there was something very wrong with those numbers making it not work or something.

I'm no expert on LS1s, but the MS4 is a peak dyno number cam. The area under the curve is not so great, but it's maybe due to the duration than excessive lift. It could have somthing with the lift though
I've seen at LT1 with 13 RWHP less than an MS4 LS1 with 415 RWHP, and the LS1 lost in a race because it had no midrange torque. Don't get me wrong, I've heard the MS4 is a good cam, but this is one thing to think about.

What about a TSP torquer V3?.. thats almost what i wanted, exept its a bit bigger on the intake and a bit smaller on the exaust, But they musthave had a reason for building it like they did.
