  • T56 trouble shooting

I recently took apart my tranny to figure out why 5th & 6th gear were not working. Other problems I had were that it was sometimes hard to get into gear and it felt at times that the clutch wasn't disigaging. When I tore it all apart I found that the little ears on the 5/6 gear shift for were gone and the fork was just moving over the syncro. I replaced the shift for and the clutch slave cylinder, as well as the input shaft bushing. 5/6 gear now work, but it is still hard to shift gears at high RPM's. Also at a stop, if you start to push it into first gear, the car will start to creep forward before its all the way in.(this only happens some of the time).

SFC( not sure what kind), drilled/slotted rotors, K&N air filter, all free mods, 3" Borla cat back exaust, electric exaust cut out, NGK spark plugs, royal purple motor oil, and Zaino .Maybe more. I find more stuff done to it everytime I look at it.
