I was wondering if anyone has a Delteq Opti-Direct system, and if so how did you like it? Or has anyone read/ heard anything about them?

You should also consider the Bailey LTCC, using 8 LS1-style coils.

I've been running 8 LS1 coils (not the Bailey system) for over 7 years. A buddy of mine used the LS1 coils on an 1,125HP LT1 running more than 20# of boost.

I've seen a few posts by people who were unable to get the Delteq to work on their cars, and had to send it back and get their money back. Delteq admits it may not work, but apparently has no idea why. I had a system from Electromotive that used 4 of the dual-tower coils, similar to the Delteq, and designed by the same person, and it had quite a few problems. Delteq sold of a lot of units by indicating that they would soon have a version of the system that would totally eliminate the Opti (current version still needs the Opti for the optical cam position sensor), but that was maybe 5 years ago, and the promised system has never materialized.
