  • 305 swap to 350

I am swapping a 350 into an 86 camaro with a 305H. The new engine has vortec heads. I am going to use manifolds instead of headers, but on the passenger side, the old manifold has the spread bolt pattern on the back of the engine. Does anyone know if there are any manifolds that will work on this side with the same design as the original, but without the spread bolt pattern? I am including a picture of the old manifold.

Dude, go with headers. It is way worth the money and effort to do it now. Trust me.

      What headers would you recommend?

I've had good luck with Hookers. I bought some really high dollar ceramic ones (can't remember the brand) and they kept coming loose.
