  • Best head and cam combination?

Hey guys, Im new on here.
I have a Hot Cam installed in my 96 LT1, and im wondering what set of heads would best compliment this cam. Also any sugestions on intake and injectors would be appreciated.
The car is going to be my semi-daily driver, so im not looking for insane power but i want it to still be pretty fast.

    Thanks,
    -Lorenzo

You can get a used set of LT4 heads and port them up. Then get yourself an LT4 intake manifold and that should be good. Or you can get a completely new set of heads.

Consider the cam and ported stock heads offered on the site linked below - 370-430 rear wheel HP in an M6 car, when supported by the other mods they list for each level:

            thanks for the input guys,
what would you suggest about injectors,
the guy i bought the car from had 36# injectors in, which i know is way too big, im suprised the car actually ran, so i bought some 26#, do you think that is a good size or should i have gone with the stock 24#

No problem running 36 #/HR injectors, even on a stock engine, as long as the correct flow constant and offsets are programmed into the PCM. And there is no benefit from using an injector that is any larger than you need. To get a rough injector size, multiply the engine's flywheel HP by 0.07
