Jeff, don't you know men aren't supposed to hit women?
J/k Anyway, my only advice is this, and maybe it is just my experience: Dating is coll and all that, but before your early to mid twenties is really a waste of time unless all you want is sex or a someone to be with for a while. I guess it's ok if you don't get too attached too easily. But after meeting and marrying my wife, the few relationships I had before I met her just seemed absolutely stupid. Just don't rush it, don't feel like you HAVE to have a GF. If you wait for the right one to come along, and what they say is true:you WILL know, then you will be happier in the long run. Until then, just enjoy being single. Once you are in a commited relationship, especially marriage, you are no longer free to do as you please with your time, money, friends, etc. Not that it isn't worth it, but it is good to get your playing done before you settle down with someone. Oh, and there's nothing wrong with being a computer geek. I met my wife online. Just my $0.02

I don't like to say much personal online, but it is not a good idea to get ""involved with a girl who likes your car beyond a brief interlude. When I was 25, I drove a beautiful black low mileage C4. I met the love of my life who actually just loved my car and that I was a body builder. Anyhow, she proceeded to tear my heart out after promising to marry me, and then proceeded to the next guy with a fast car. I never recovered from that one. Todd had some great advice. If your out to have fun, cool! ...but, be EXTREMELY careful who you are attracting...and, make sure you keep it in the right context if you are going out with someone based on a car or other superficial attribute.

yep, I'm a computer nerd also and I third the fact that you will meet the girl of your dreams when you least expect it.
I met mine while vacationing 700 miles from home. She was staying at the beach house next door with her family. Got talking, and she lived 2 miles from my house. Crazy.
That was almost 3 years ago, and we're together now and still going strong like the first months. I wouldn't trade her for anything.
I've been with the girl I'm with now for almost 2 years. But we met way back in the 6th grade...lost contact in the ladder part of high school and -ACCIDENTALLY- met her in college (couldn't believe it). The love of my life...I know is isn't out for my material because I don't have any..LoL. Just my cars...don't rush in anything...I learned that the hard. You're young...I'm young, no need to rush in anything. That girl will come by one day...trust me, you'll know her when you see her. I'm just extremely blessed I guess...got a great company, great friends, great cars, and great girl that's a Hottie.
Have fun...!!! When you get into a 'real' relationship (working towards marriage, longterm) no more fun...and you're gonna have to grow up.
Oh, I don't look like it...but I'm a computer nerd too. LoL...
