Low Oil sensor located on the oil pan has gone bad......Happened to mine after i had the engine redone....after the sensor goes dry for a long period of time, it goes bad....at least that what the mechanic told me...It is about a 20 dollar part and easy to install.....

watch the oil pump action on your gage too. on acceleration especially... if the pressure takes a dive suddenly...then jumps back...you have the infamouse hairline crack at the stem seat. one of these times....you will spin #8 rod bearing.....and them some.

      i know.

      and its happend to others.

The Helms manual warns against jacking anywhere on the oil pan due to the closeness of the oil pick up screen.

That's how everyone knocks it off.

        Word to the wiser!
