  • Want more Power!

I want to do more engine mods for more power, but don't really know which road to go down. I was looking at the remote mounted turbos, but that's a lot of dough. I'm pulling the NOS out of the car as it hasn't been run since the LT4 Hot Cam kit was put in and it's more of a toy than a full on race car. I don't really want to pull the engine to stroke it, although I will one day. I was just wondering if anyone could suggest anything. I know mods get pretty expensive after the basics are done. I have a tune with Carolina Auto Masters on Sep. 17th, so at least I'll know how much I'm making with the mods I already have.

Yeah your going to have to spend some good amount of money from this point. Your best bet is either Stroke or Boost. The only bad thing about Boost is that the LT1's have some what weak rings from my understanding. You can push a good 4-6psi safely. Do a Vortec charger.

I can't decide which would be better for my car, a supercharger or an sts turbo. I'm thinking maybe I should do some chasis/suspension upgrades before I go with forced induction. Traction is already a problem.

Oh yeah if you have not done any suspension work then That should be next. In my case that was first.

All this should help you launch much better. Maybe a 1LE sway bar. Poly End links and/or a complete Energy suspension Bushing kit, which includes the A-Arm bushings.

Anyone know if the UMI toque arm kit w/ DS loop will fit with Jet Hot LTs and a Jet Hot Y Pipe?
