  • PCV System with Holley 850

How would this be hooked up?

This 850 Holley double pumper with mechanical secondaries has no vacuum port on it for a PCV valve. There is a hole in each valve cover on the car with a grommet.

Starting from scratch, how should this be plumbed?

Currently, we have a plug in one side that leaks and in the other side we have a vented breather of some sort with a hose going to the air cleaner base.

This is a non emission engine without any extra plumbing for anything.

Hmm... I have a 750 DP with mech. secondaries that has a PCV pipe in the bottom rear. You're sure it's not there?

The brake booster is hooked up to that.

Ok, we've got it hooked up I think.

In the passenger side valve cover is a PCV valve. It is connected to a vacuum port on the intake manifold. We didnt have a port big enough for the brake booster on the manifold, so we left that on the carb and put the PCV on the intake.

In the driver's side valve cover is a breather with a hose attached to it. The hose routes to the base of the aircleaner assembly.

        Car runs great.
