    hey guys you all have been extremely helpful with my car and what i have done to it now i want to replace my my steering wheel how to you remove the airbag without deploying it?? and then just get a steering wheel puller right and the swap the out and everything right??

    Pulling the steering wheel off is pretty straight forward. Two bolts in the back and the airbag/horn assembly comes out. You should pull the battary and unplug the air bag fuse and let it discharge 10-15 minutes before working on it.

    Once the wheel is off, you can see how it's assembled.

    Mark the top dead center of the wheel also, so when you pull the steering wheel off with the puller, you can see where to mount the new wheel.

    Take time to cut and pull the wires correctly so you can opt to return it to stock if you prefer.

        There are big bright yellow air bag connectors under the knee panel on the driver's side and under the glove box on the passenger side, It's recommended you unplug those after you remove the air bag fuse as well.
        Tracy, 97 Formula, pretty much stock.
