  • M6 Service

Thanks to all who enlightened me on Fram filters being junk-went to the store today and got myself a Pure-1 Purolator (wanted Mobil-1 but couldn't find them anywhere locally).

Getting ready to change my M6 fluid, going to use Mobil-1 ATF-just wondering-is the drain plug the square-drive at the pass side rear of the M6, a few inches ahead of the tail? I know the square drive up higher toward the front is the fill/check hole. Sorry, I probably seem like an idiot... I am actually a very good mechanic, just not toatally acclimated to the SS, the LS 1, and the M6 tranny yet. Thanks to all.

PS-had a ricer pull up today and try to race...Just let him go, as I don't want to give them the pleasure of baiting me into reckless driving...is this an inferiority complex or something? Not only is my car an SS, but it also has Flowmaster exhaust-not exactly a sleeper-these morons have to know their import econo-wagon can't compete (even with the foldgers can...)
