  • 1998 TA wont start

my stepdad owns a white conv 98 LS1 t/a 6-speed and rarely drives it (when he bought it he had to preorder it, and after recently running the VIN# we found that it was the first LS1 convertible off the line!). Anyways, we tried to start it the other day, dead battery was the first issue, so we tried to jump it. No start. however, when we wiggled the connectors on the cables where they were on the contacts they would spark, and the car interior lights would go on. When we tried to start it after that, nothing except clicking,.........we located the noise and it was coming from the relay for the Fuel pump... any ideas? sounds to me like an electrical issue with some other ingredients.
