  • interchangeable speaker question....

I was hoping someone could tell me if the Monsoon speakers (10 speaker) would hook right up to my Delco system's speakers? I need to change mine, I have the 10 speaker option in my T/A, and I can get all the Monsoon speakers (off of a '98) real cheap from a bud if they'll hook right up. Anyone done this? Thanks!!

They should. You have to remember that the T/A speakers and the Camaro speakers are diff. but that does not matter in this case. Does your car have the two 6" subs in the side panels by the rear seats? If so they you should be more than fine. I recommend you go aftermarket but if they are wired anything like the 98-2002 T/A's then your going to have one hell of a hard time looking for speakers that will sound good and dont distort.

Thank you! I was just really not sure if the wiring would be exact, or if the Monsoon speakers were just totally different from the Delcos. Also, having a '96, I wasn't sure if the '98s were gonna work in my car. I do have the 10 speakers, including the subs in the rear passenger area. I do know Camaro speakers are totally diff, so that's not an option. Thanks again!
