    Appears you have a 96 or 97 LT1.... so....

Can you feel the misfires? How does the engine idle? How does it perform under moderate acceleration, and WOT acceleration? Does the engine "break up" under any of those conditions?

The more into you can provide about the car, the better chance you will have that someone can help you. Is the engine stock or modified? How many miles? EXACTLY what parts have you replaced, and when? Did you start the "parts replacement" program to solve the misfire code, or has the code suddenly appeared after one or all of these replacements? Do you have any other codes? Has anyone used a scanner with "GM enhanced parameter" capabilties to check the misfire counts on each individual cylinder?

My first diagnostic would be to find a really dark spot, at night, and pop the hood while it is running- look for little blue sparks coming off the high tension wires- it is easy for them to ground out against the block, manifolds, whatever- that may give you a clue where the misfires are occurring

        broke trans ams

I have a 1996 ws6 it has 95000 miles on it and is stock before this it was popping codes for the optispark so I pretty much replaced everything in the ignition sys. coil, ign module, plugs and wires and i have no other codes allthough it maybe the wires and plugs, the back drivers side plug wire was off so i checked all of those and no luck. I had a family friend do that maint. cause i was out of town i am in the marine corps.
