I just talked to my friend, He said the hanger is mine again this year. Yahoo!! He even starts it up and lets it run awhile when he is cleaning his airplane.

I plan on driving mine this winter after putting some winter tires on.

This is my first RWD vehicle, the majority of the other vehicles I've owned were AWD (Eclipse, Stealth, SVX) so I hope I can handle it.

Drive it. The only thing that looks like snow in Georgia is when they pick the cotton fields. The sides of the roads look like left over snow from being plowed. Bizzare looking. It doesn't melt.

The '97 T/A went 94,000 miles in five years mostly in Colorado. One of those years was spent commuting 72 miles one way from Monument Hill, CO elev. 7,300 ft to Denver one way. It has gone through snow, ice, rain, you name it, etc. If you keep after it, it stays nice. I used several layers of 3M wax on the front so it didn't get too damaged except for those nice individuals who rammed into the bumper covers a few times (gotta love street parking in Denver) It is retired now, and it sits comfortably beside the '79 T/A in the garage.

For the 2nd winter in 11 years she will be snug as a bug in the rug in my garage! She's deserved it though...been a daily driver for a long long time and has been through Ohio winters, 2 blizzards in MD, a freak snow storm in GA, and of course the 5 month long blizzard aka Aurora, CO 3 yrs ago.

This is my daily driver now and I say BRING ON THE SNOW! I can take it...

Awesome Jeep! I really like the rims/tires. I have a 91 Wrangler, but it doesnt look like that - but then again I dont mind romping on it through the mud and trails! I just bought a hard top and doors for it so I can drive it in the cold and keep the Bird off the road.

Both birds are going away this winter. My wifes 2002 and my Formula. I have a 2001 S10 4x4 crew cab I drive and I just picked up a 1998 olds intrigue for my wife. Winters can get real bad in Rochester.

My 'Bird gets parked in the garage for the winter and I only drive my ZR2. I love that truck.

Dean, where in upstate NY are you? There are a few of us here in Rochester.

                          Upstate

I'm about 10 minutes north of Albany, right on the hudson river.

I had a 6cyl firebird a couple years ago. I drove it two winters in a row and smacked up the same front fender 2 years in a row. Winters are bad here, you can spend an hour digging you car out, just to get stuck at the first corner.
I've traded up to an 8cyl Z28, and I'm not gonna smack this one up. It'll see very limited duty once the white stuff flies. I have a 95 explorer , (yep ford) with good 4WD.

Its My sisters house in these pics, I'd put it in her pole barn, but I would be driving up to see it all winter!!

Like I said my new garage needs some woodworking benches ripped out before the Z will fit, I'll probably leave it out and covered this winter.
