  • OBD I Scan Tool

I have two 93 Z-28's and now that I have a laptop, I am looking for diagnostic software and interface hardware in order to be able to check them out occasionally.

Are there any setups available that meet these requirements?

    Thanks,

    Tom

    Read this post http://www.f-body.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20758

Fred has towards the end a couple of good links posted with scanners.

...but that post was geared to OBD-II. Thomas has OBD-I.

TTS Datamaster is a great tool for you, Thomas.

Yeah I know but some of them make/sell stuff for OBD-1 too.

          Going to look into this!

          Thanks Guys!

          These suggestions look promising.

Might be doing some more autocrossing next year so it is probably time to have some better diagnostic capability on hand.

We resurected the 93A4, put some KDW's on it and brought home the gold in the first autocross in over four years. Helped Son find the course in the 93M6 and he responded by cutting my best by four seconds. What are kids for? I went back out and got him by about a half second for the win. Things haven't changed over the years.

Let Son-In-Law drive the 93A4 and he placed 4th which was a credible performance for first time out in the car, at night!
