A 225/60-16 has a 26.6" outside diameter, and is actaully larger in diameter than the 245/50-16, which is 25.6" diameter. The smaller diameter 245/50 will have the effect of increasing torque at the rear wheels by almost 4%. It will also cause your speedo to read almost 4% higher than actual speed, if the computer is programmed for the 225/60's.Fred
