  • Radiator exploded...

Local guy has a 98 LS1 radiator. Will it work in my 97? Both are 6 speed cars. He says they look similar but he thinks the LS1 radiator might have an extra port on it.

I wanna double check before I go get it.

I think it will work. I have the radiator out of my 2000 T/A parts car in my 94 Camaro. I dont remember them being any different, but im not 100% sure on that its been a long time since I did the swap.

I'm pretty sure you're correct. Researching last night I found a guy with an LS1 car and bought an SLP "upgrade" radiator.

Turns out it's just a 93-96 radiator, which has a 50% thicker core.

They're exactly the same, the LS1 is just a little bit thinner.
