Brake light won't go off

The light on the dash that comes and goes with the emergency brake won't go off. I had to replace a right rear lug stud, which seemingly was no big deal. Unmounted the caliper, but did not breach the system, replace the stud and now the light won't go off. I consider myself pretty adept at such matters, but this is kicking my butt. Any help will be appreciated.

Seems simple, but did you check the parking brake switch?

Where is the switch? I did think about that, but am not sure where it is.
