So i have 90k miles on my car right now. with the mods listed in my sig, would this cam be safe to put in? its 224/234 and .554 lift and 112 lsa. is my engine still strongh enough to have a bigger cam put in?

Yeah i will be getting the springs to match it. Go talk to a speed shop that does work on GM cars. I talked to an F body shop here and they highly reccomended having the motor checked for wear, completely re doing the heads, and more problems than I was asking for. They basically tld me to leave it unless you built another motor. The thing i'm worried about is how much longer my engine would last once i put the cam in. It runs strong right now, but from reading around on the internet, alot of lt1's start goin downhill around 120k and up. 90k reallly isnt alot considering mine is a '94. That's only about 7k a year which is nothing. But who knows whats going on internally as far as wear and tear. But, considering the way it runs right now, it should be fine. I'm still kindafor a for sure answer, so will i absolutley be fine putting a cam in???? thanks for the replies

You will be absolutely fine putting the cam in.
My car had about 100k when I put mine in. My cylinders had visible cross hatch, didn't leak anywhere, has excellent oil pressure, 195-210 compression on every cylinder, stock cam looked perfect, lifters were in great shape, etc...
I wouldn't hesitate to put a cam in an LT1 with 94k miles, especially a baby cam like you mentioned.
