trannys ok, fuel filters new and the car still shudders when i am goin 55

My car is a 2000 firebird and I am having trouble at first I thought it was the tranny I had it checked it's ok, then I thought maybe fule filter got a new one on it now and it still while driving at around 50 mph had a shudder to it like something is sticking. I dont know much about cars has anyone else had this trouble? If so any ideas what it is?? Maybe the rear axle??

My cars has a slight vibration at around 70+. I have balanced all 4 tires, and nothing. WHen I installed the Exhaust One of the clamps I guess was rubbing on Driveshaft and I think caused it to become unbalanced. Could be you have an unblananced driveshaft.

I had a 97 that vibrated at about 60 mph the dealer replaced the brake pads, rotors, had all four tires balanced, checked drive shaft, read end and trans. all with no help I finally found one of the tires had a bump on it that you could not see. I only found it because I replaced the rims and tires and the vibration went away. I looked at the orginal tires and could not see a problem and the dealer said they balanced fine...but when i rolled the bad tire on a flat drive way (off the car) instead if tracking straight it would wobble at the same point on the tire every time. It looked like it was running over something? Took it to a tire shop and thay said a belt had slipped inside the tire but you couldnt see it

Well one of my rims was bent when i bought the car and i noticed it sounds like what your saying at 50mph+ you can feel it only way i found out was geting tires balanced

If your vibration is a tire issue there's a good chance you would also notice it under hard braking.
