hey fred, im lookin at a 96 ss maro and of course, i will be going to the strip on the weekends, for a lil fun test and tunes, but 17s arent cheap tires, so i was wondering if my sisters 15" wheel off her 89 firebird would fit? i have bout her another set so two are left over and was figuring i could put some D/Rs on there so i wouldnt go broke from replacing tires. will they fit? or they too small? i dont care if they stick out a lil bit, they are for the track only

I don't know the details of the 3rd Gen wheels. Some 15" wheels will not fit on a 4th Gen without spacers. They hit the front and rear brake calipers and pads. Then, the 3rd Gen wheels have 2" less backspace, pushing them outward quite a bit. Some tracks will not let you run the tires outside the body on a stock bodied "ET" car.Fred
