Is there such a thing? My buddy was asking me about it. Some guy is claiming he had one and they only made like 300 that year?

yeah some guy is claiming to be running mid 12's with a 5.0 with 235whp.

and that average LS1 f-bodies run mid 12's stock and low 12's with slicks.

Wasn't the WS6 more than just ram-air? I parted out a '98, and the front sway bar was a larger diameter one than on my '01 Z28- not sure if the springs were different, but the shocks were definately larger diameter. Not sure what other upgrades were on it, I thought it was sort of like the 1LE package for the Firebird-

yeah its the 32mm front swaybar. then the Springs and shocks are different. They come with 17" rims. And the ram-air hood.

True, but that's a limited edition conversion by a tuner and not by the factory. You could not get the WS6 package directly from a GM assembly line after 2000.
