  • 93-97 Camaro MPG? Paging Joe

What kind of MPG do those V6-F-bodies get in the city. I was looking to get a Honda to save money but I found a number of Maro's for around 2K.

I know on highway Joe has fot 30+.

I typically get 27 in mixed driving (50/50) when driven carefully. A heavier foot brings it down to 24-25. Ya need a stick shift to get those numbers though. An auto will be down a couple mpg from that.

I'm getting about 17 in the city. My foot might be a bit heavy and my cat may be clogged as well

yikes... my Lt1 with 3.73s got that or better. You've got some issues somewhere.

Would the the issue of where I live being nothing but very steep hills and sharp turns on top of the traffic probably play a role in this? I have to gun it to get up a hill and brake going down all the time.

yep. Steep hills that require heavy throttle will drain your tank fast. still, there are techniques that help such as a running start, not keeping a constant speed going uphill, plus a few others I learned when I had a Crew Cab Dually.
