  • Opti Harness Connector

On the distributor side of the harness, the terminal with the blue wire has some green oxidization on it. does this mean i need a new harness? Or is it still ok?

I wouldn't chance it. You might be able to clean it off, try some baking soda. If they don't make contact you'll be a cussin'.

You can clean it with baking soda or battery terminal cleaner but I would highly suggest using silicone dielectric compound on the contacts when you plug it back in.

If you need a new harness, Casper sells one for about 1/3 the cost of the GM piece.
