  • scrathing my head over this one.

I have a 1997 Camaro Z-28 LT-1 6 speed car. I am have a problem with the car as far as it starting. Some days it starts up fine and then a couple of days later it wont start and it will back fire through the throttle body like the timing is off. I have replaced the PCM, and the distributor because they were bad, but know this is really messing with me something fierce. I have recently replaced the crank sensor, but the damn battery died so till it is charged up again to try it out. I was just wondering what yall thought about it. Please help!!!!!!!!!!

I could be a leaking injector combined with a crossfire in the ignition or just a simple crossfire. Could also be an intake valve that sticks or a damaged seat.

Ignition problem.... Coil/ICM perhaps? Is it giving you a ServiceEengineSoon light?
you may want to have the battery tested......
just throwing the ideas out there..
