Just currious who on this site uses there 4th gen F-body for auto crossing or at the local road courses? i want to set up my Z to handle great for auto cross racing. there arent any road courses near me right now but there going to build a motor sports park in NH like an hour away in the next few years. i like to run down the 1/4 once and a while but its not that interesting to me. i really want to make my car stand out at an auto cross event, and not by having it look weird. i know i will need to have the basics, like brake upgrades, sticky tires, different rim sizes, maybe a gear change and definately a lot of suspension work. i am just currious what you guys and girls have for current upgrades on this stuff, and how you do at local events

    thanks a ton

im a member and worker for SCCA and NASA,but i have not gone racing yet(im poor)i will have my helmet in two weeks so i'll be ready next year.i talked to some people with fbodys but they have gone crazy with the car.you have a good idea as to what you need,it just depends on what class you want to race.go to SCCA.com and check out solo2.i have a race on the 22/23 nov and i'll ask what kind of camber and stuff they use.

azzkn - best thing you could do is to go to an event and ask questions of the participants. Like firehawkclone said, check out SCCA Solo, also checkout the folks at COMSCC and the fine folks at N.A.S.A. who both hold events at NHIR, Lime Rock and Watkins Glen, to name just a few.

I'll be instructing at Lime Rock this next Monday, for the final event of the NASA-NE season, so plan for next season and come on out.
