Okay I've not had a problem with my car for about 6 months and that wasn't even my fault...got rear ended by a Semi and cracked my Tranny that then blew its guts everywhere. So heres the new problem I have. My car wont start, I can put the key in and the door chime will go off and the dome lights come on but no gauges or anything else Bat is good any ideas? I have a 99 Firebird 3.8 with around 130K on the clock.

Does the engine turn over when you try to start it?
>if so, does the car show spark?
>if not, test/inspect the strater.....depending on the magnitude of the accident, the collision could have messed up the flexplate/flywheel thus screwing your starter.
Is the SES light on/is there any DTC codes being thrown?
>if so what codes?
>if not, does the SES light turn on then off when the key is first put into the "run" position.-Ryan-

Nothing happens at all when I try to turn the key the Wheel unlocks but the brakes don't no gauges flash or SES light nor the Security light at all.Comment
