I am rewiring the engine harness on my 3rd gen/LT1. I am going to run the EMC harness through the firewall behind the passenger side dash so I mount the ECM where the orginal one was. I am having trouble finding a grommet that will work. The harness is about 3/4"-1" thick, but the ECM connectors are close to 3" wide. I need a grommet that can stretch so I can get the connectors through but then will shrink back down to the harness size to keep a weather tight seal. Anybody know of something that will work?
My next step was to hit the junk yards and start popping hoods till I found one that would work.
