Leaking AN fittings...

Hey everyone,
I just installed a fuel pressure gauge in my LT1/RS. I used AN fitting adaptors on the schrader valve to hook up the sending unit. I am now leaking fuel on my intake mainifold! Is there some sort of sealant you are susposed to use on AN fittings? I tightened them up as much as I thought I could without stripping the threads.

did you support the base of the schrader valve as you were tightning the fitting? If not you may have cracked the joint between the valve and the fuel rail.

Yeah... I preassembled the adaptor to the sending unit before I put it on the rail. I forgot that the sending unit threads were 1/4" NPT. I just put some tread sealer on them. Hopefully once its dry, it wont leak anymore.
