Transmission
Have a 70 Camaro, and am trying to find out how far in front of the floor shifter to drill hole for for transmission cable? I have found the dimples for attaching the shifter and console on the trans tunnel, but no marking for trans cable. Also does anyone reccomend a company for a turbo 400 that can handle up to 450hp?

Turbo 400s can easily survive that power level with good clutches and bands. Most worry about a turbo 350 at those levels, 400s are a piece of cake.

If it were me at 450 horses I would put a 700R4 in it.
